Insulation can be required for a variety of reasons including prevention of heat loss, heat transfer and condensation and to achieve energy efficiency. Mineral fibre and other similar insulation products are installed by our experienced engineers on to plant, ducting and heating plant and a number of finishes are available. The client will specify a finish depending on the project requirements and in the case of aluminium cladding, stainless steel and colour coated metal sheeting, these are prepared in our well-equipped workshops. Foil faced and Isogenopak finishes are also available.
Fire Barriers & Fire protection
We offer the supply and fitting of Rockwool Fire Curtain, Promac FR Boards and a number of other products to achieve fire compartmentalisation. For further assistance please contact our insulation department who will be pleased to discuss your requirements and offer advice accordingly.
Trace Heating
We offer the installation of Trace heating in addition to thermal insulation in circumstances where services are at risk of damage from frost or are temperature sensitive. Insulation Jackets & Valve Mats
Our insulation engineers manufacture bespoke insulation jackets and valve mats in our workshops. Once finished, our engineer will transport them to site and fit them to plant as ordered. Marine Insulation

Asbestos Removal
Economic Insulations (Portsmouth) Ltd provide all services in respect of asbestos removal, encapsulation, disposal and decontamination. We hold a Full Contracting Licence issued by HSE for work with licenced asbestos materials.
Our directors and managers have many years of combined experience in dealing with asbestos projects and are trained in undertaking risk assessments and preparing plans of work. Our workforce are fully trained in the safe removal of all types of asbestos containing materials whether it is under full enclosure conditions if deemed necessary by risk assessment or under controlled conditions where lower risk is present.
